Does your idea need some tweaking in the enzyme department? Let our scientists help.
Njorth Bio_boost was established in December of 2016, located at Måltidets Hus in Ipark (Innovation Park), Stavanger. Respected scientist Clemens Furnes is operating as CSO for this daughter company. It has access to the research infrastructure of the University of Stavanger and the pilot scale fermentation capacities at Biosentrum, creating a powerhouse of bio-capabilities at your disposal. But you don’t have to live in Stavanger to take advantage of our access – in fact, you don’t even have to live in Norway! We can integrate projects from anywhere in the world into our shared-resource infrastructure.
We typically assist in ideas within the industrial biotech arena, spanning across a wide variety of applications that support the bioeconomy – the upgrade of biomass, the development of tools to assist in the production of bio-sustainable materials, and the creation of tools with industrial application, helping enzymes to provide an environmentally friendly solution to an industrial process. Although we work primarily with enzymes, we also have experience with other proteins that have functional properties, so nothing is off-limits.
We have the platform your project needs to get commercialized. We are looking for scientists just like you so we can complement your skills with the necessary product development knowledge, quality control and assurance resources, IPR assets, and market/customer network to bring your product to market.
By dividing responsibilities by skillset and sharing the work, we are each able to contribute with what we do best – and together move faster towards the market.
